I'm Angela Banks, a licensed clinical therapist, national certified counselor, and the founder of "The Clarity Couch Counseling Services." I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, holding a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ohio University. I am currently pursuing my doctorate at Antioch University-Seattle. I am dedicated to empowering individuals on their unique journey of growth and healing. I am renowned as "The Strong Friend's Therapist," specializing in working with high-achieving and high-profile women who often carry the weight of being perceived as "the strong friend." I also offer specialized assistance to clinicians, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, addressing past trauma and relationship issues. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology, I bring expertise to guide you toward healing and personal growth. I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. I am dedicated to creating a safe, empowering, supportive client environment. If you're facing life's challenges or working through trauma, I'm here to assist you in navigating these complexities. If you’re struggling with feelings of despair and overwhelming stress? I specialize in helping clients learn new strategies to manage stressors and symptoms. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other trauma-related disorders, I am committed to supporting you on your healing journey. My focus includes self-awareness, self-compassion, and building confidence. Together, we will work towards enhancing your relationships with others while fostering personal growth and resilience. Additionally, I find joy in working with children aged 7 and up. Specializing in teens, I can assist them in managing emotions, improving communication, and building better relationships with adults. I’m Carmen, a therapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health profession. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and life transitions. My background includes experience in community-based social services, providing wraparound services and crisis intervention. My approach is holistic, addressing a variety of client concerns. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma, family and relationship transitions, alcohol and substance use concerns, medical concerns, and financial challenges. My warm, non-judgmental space creates a sense of safety where you can explore, grow, and transform. While working with me, you're not just a client but a partner in your journey toward positive change.
Dr. Letitia Young, DSW, LSW, LICDC

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Youngstown State University, a Master's in Social Work from the University of Akron, and a doctorate in Social Work. I'm a licensed social worker (LSW) and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor (LICDC) in Ohio. I enjoy working with clients by holistically addressing their needs. I have 20 years of experience in supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance use concerns. My holistic approach and commitment to evidence-based practices set me apart. I am your dedicated partner, offering empathy and compassion on your journey. Your well-being is my priority, and together, we'll navigate the path to a fulfilling and balanced life.
Kiera Douglas, Administrative Services Manager
Kiera is our Administrative Services Coordinator. She is a graduate of Cuyahoga Community College and is currently in the Psychology program at Cleveland State University. She aspires to become a mental health professional. While growing up in the inner city, she became more interested in the field, as she saw the need for more clinicians of diverse backgrounds. Kiera is available to assist with administrative concerns, such as beginning services, scheduling, insurance and more.
