Dr. Angela Banks, LPCC-S, NCC

Executive Director

Are you exhausted from helping everyone else, with no space to be free and let your hair down? Do people constantly test your limits, and are you feeling stressed as a leader at home or at work? I’m Dr. Angela Banks, a licensed Black mental health therapist in Ohio, offering intensive anxiety therapy specifically designed for Black women who carry a lot for others and rarely get the support they need. My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and deeply rooted in my research on Black women leaders.

I offer extended intensive sessions to help you slow down and process what you’re carrying. My focus includes attachment, healing relationships, and understanding the impact of intergenerational trauma on emotional well-being and leadership.

I also provide workshops and talks for the community and organizations on leadership, parenting, team skill building, mental health, and various topics to support healing, growth, and emotional wellness.

If you're looking to find a therapist in Ohio, I offer online therapy sessions as well. "Healing isn’t just about the present; it’s about breaking cycles, reclaiming power, and creating a legacy of wellness for yourself and generations to come." —Angela
